Huey V – “Feelings”

After Huey V’s recent EP release “So Below” he has been making waves in his city from performing at Summerfest in Milwaukee to throwing the first pitch at the Brewers game. He just released a dope video “Feelings” directed by Shula The Don, following his EP. Huey V has garnered over 2 millions views on his latest video releases. Huey V’s new video “Feelings” is his version of Jay-z’s famed single “Song Cry” displaying him as a storyteller in the new video. The cinematic scenes kick off the visual showing the stages of a toxic relationship from arguing, fighting to being back in love. The opening scene sets the tone within seconds of an argument between the two, sparking an even more fueled situation. Huey narrates and watches each scene telling the story from both sides. Lyrics like “You don’t view this house as a home no more” bring out parallels in relationships that everyone can relate to. Huey raps about regret an imperfection while pouring out a liquor for love lost.

Huey V – “Bygones Be Bygone”

Since Huey V’s introduction to the industry he’s been consistently dropping bangers and building anticipation leading up to his follow up EP “So Below,” (Mixed by Young Guru). He just released his new video “ByGones Be By Gone” and while he’s still considered one of the industry’s best kept secrets, the visuals and singles off the sequel project says he’s leveled up. ByGones Be By Gone is a step up from his past videos and shows the fun side of Huey V. We’ve also included the official release date for “So Below” which is June 10th.

Prepping for the sequel to his previous release “As Above,” his new project “So Below” encompasses an evolving sound as he’s becoming the voice of Milwaukee. Singles such as “After The Deal,” and “More Love” gave a sneak peek into what’s expected, yet the new video “ByGones Be By Gone” shows another side to Huey V. Shot by Shula The Don, Huey rides the tempo with a couple of baddies by his side. Filmed on a wild night in Miami, ByGones Be By Gone shows him getting caught up in the life and losing control. The cinematic visual is edgy yet tells a story everyone can relate to. With over 2 million views on his visuals, new video “ByGones” flips the script.

Huey V – “More Love”

Warehouse Music Group lead artist Huey V is putting numbers on the board and is full speed ahead on his mission to dominate the rap game. From his latest video, “After the Deal,” to his last EP release, 1 million is his magic number; however his new video “More Love” zooms in on his love for his city Milwaukee. His previous EP “As Above” spoke to gun violence and despair in his hometown. His new video “More Love,” puts his audience in a visual location and gives a vivid picture of his surroundings growing up. Huey V poetically describes the pain he’s experienced due to losing loved ones from gun violence. This is the second video off his highly anticipated EP “So Below” which is set to be released in April.  

This past week HUEY V teamed up with City Year Milwaukee (Rufus Middle School) and Adidas Sound Labs (Curie HS) to speak to students in Chicago and Milwaukee. Students had the opportunity to hear his latest single “More Love.” – dedicated to victims of gun violence and had intimate conversations about how the students handle stressful situations. 

Following his video release, Huey V performed at various SXSW stages including HHS1987 Live From 6th St (3/16), Thumpin Thursdays with MC Buddha (3/17), and more. In preparation for his second EP “So Below,” Huey V teamed up with Adidas Sound lab and City Year to visit schools in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. With major co-signs from Source Magazine, Revolt TV, Rolling Out Magazine, Rap Radar and more he is not only raising awareness but telling his truth in More Love., video.

From Artist to CEO, Memphis Bleek has been a force to be reckoned with within hip hop since he made his debut on Reasonable Doubt in 1996’. Milwaukee rapper Huey V, who is signed to Warehouse Music Group, is leading the pact dropping his latest single “After the Deal ” on January 28th.
