Chicago emcee Von Marley has remained a highly respected artist in Chicago’s underground hip-hop scene for years through the release of his mixtapes. Throughout his career he has worked with many fellow Chicago artists like Ramaj Eroc, Tink, Young Chop (Chopsquad), and Midwest legend Rhymefest and has opened up for many notable acts like Jeremih and Project Pat. Despite his countless years of hard work and dedication, Von never found the breakout single that would help propel his own career to the next level but with the Summer season vastly approaching he is attempting to do just that with not one but two upcoming mixtapes he is preparing to drop entitled Fuck Practice & #LuckyNumber7. After releasing a freestyle to Meek Mill’s “Monster” as the first single off FPvia Stack or Starve weeks ago; Von Marley has returned yet again with the single Bag Language, off of #LN7. In this we hear Marley, delivers a definition to the phrase “Bag Language” which was coined by Stack or Starve founder DoughFromDaGo and his Bag Language Clothing Line. Compared to previous releases from Von Marley, Bag Language is a smoother more melodic song while still remaining hard hitting thanks to Cosa Nostra’s great production.
