When and how did you start doing this rap thing? Who introduced you to the game?
I started rapping at the age of 5 years old on random day in the summer out of nowhere. But I didn’t start writing lyrics until I was 12 or 13 due to my parents splitting up. Around 16 I started recording in a real studio because I had been recording on cassette tapes and word got around town to this dude that was brothers with a rapper/producer out of Ennis, TX that liked my potential. His name was Big Mac and he’s the first one to get behind me and helped me establish some clout around Dallas with my music.
What’s the story behind your name? obviously you’re a fan of the movie “Last Dragon” lol
Lol man I was in the studio recording my Lords project under my former moniker Tony Staxx with a producer named 3Fifty7. He had the Last Dragon playing in the studio at the time and on the cool it was my first time seeing the movie. I heard the main character’s name and that shit just captivated me. So as I’m riding home listening to the rough draft of my tape I kept saying that was a dope name and I just put the Jui$e on it and told my close patna Cousin Pete and that nigga turnt up like hell yea nigga that’s it right there. So I just ran with it and built an image around the name.
How would you describe your music style?
In a nutshell my music style is Conscious Trap. I came from the streets, gang banging, dope selling, pimpin and all in real life but I elevated my consciousness and became aware of what is and what isn’t so I implement that in my music.
Tell us where are you from and where do you live now?
I’m from Fort Worth, TX a lil town on the outskirts called Everman and also Ennis, TX which is 30 minutes South of Dallas. I reside in Dallas for now but looking forward to switching locations when the time is right.

What’s the music scene like in Dallas? We see Yella Beezy is the new face or is that false?
To be honest the music is and always has been poppin out here in the “DFW” area. The street niggas making noise out here, we also have Leon Bridges from Ft. Worth doing his thing, the underground Hip Hop scene is so fucking talented fam it’s only a matter of time for everything get the notoriety that we deserve. And naw that’s very true about Yella Beezy, Cuz is a standup dude along with Trapboy Freddy they doing their best shit and speaking for the streets of the “D”, I commend those men.
What’s the status of your new project & it’s release?
My new project been complete I’m working on the advertising and marketing plan in order to get better results than the last project and even better results with the one that drops after this one. I’m trying to get as much publicity as possible to gain that attraction and anticipation before and after it releases.
