Parris Ladame Sets It Off With New Video “Gettin It” (@Parrisladame)

Parris Ladame “Gettin It”

Parris Ladame releases the video to her first single “Gettin It”, from her upcoming mixtape “Every Dolla Counts”. If you recall the 1996 movie “Set It Off” starring Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett, Kimberly Elise, and Vivica A. Fox, then you can pinpoint the direction of creativity Ladame used in the theme of her video. Ladame’s video is a recreation of the initial plan and success of their first bank heist. From wardrobe to reenactment, this was a job well done. Be on the lookout for Parris’s mixtape “Every Dolla Counts” coming April 29th on Spinrilla.

JR&PH7 x St. Joe Louis x Rah Digga “Duck Duck Goose” (@jrandph7)

German production pairing JR&PH7, in conjunction with Below System Records, released their latest atmospherically squalid video / single ‘Duck Duck Goose’ onto the public this week, as they connect with their long time collaborators, and one of the most under-appreciated groups in Hip-Hop, St. Joe Louis [Michael Cardigan, Tommie Chase + Elete Wright], if that wasn’t enough? they’ve brought out a clinical 16 bars from the legendary MC, Rah Digga for good measure. This visual collage was filmed and shot in a myriad of various locations, state to state, seamlessly edited by directors, Jörg Rottgardt & Ingo Leffin.‘Duck Duck Goose’ is a cut, sliced from JR&PH7 X St. Joe Louis’ [collaborative] studio album ‘Coral Cadavers’ due for release this June, 2017 via Below System Records, no snoozing.

Taleb Fazle – Mannequin (@DamnDatKidFazle)

Coming from Taleb’s recent EP Cocaine & Dollhouses, #Mannequin takes a stand against the fraudulence you see and hear in music, not only in Indianapolis but in local music everywhere. It’s essentially a message everyone needs to advocate which is simple “Death to all Frauds.” (Which represents the mannequin burning on fire in the video.)
Why the mannequin? It’s symbolic. It’s a reference to all artists in the local scene who lack identity, “no names/blank faces” trying to make it but wont do what is needed to get there. They don’t “bust moves” accordingly and since mannequins literally “cant move” which fit the name and visual perfectly.

DJ Paul presents the official video for “Loud Loud” Ft. Lil Wyte from his “Master Of Evil” album, directed by @PaperFilms. The gritty record has a solid speaker knocking’ sound from start to finish with the instrumental and KOM’s voice giving it that edgy sound. With Lil Wyte’s verse to compliment it, there is no surprise on how quickly it has circulated. DJ Paul’s “Master Of Evil” album is available on all digital select retail outlets including iTunes, Google Play, Best Buy, Amazon, and Fye.

While living life a quarter mile at a time, MeRCY hits the gas and takes off with “Murcielago Verde”. What seems like a normal joy ride, turns into a high stakes need for speed with the bars at 120mph. There’s no downshifting on this ‘Solidified’ orchestrated instrumental, so strap in tight for this run.

Melody Reyne “I Am” EP

Melody Reyne says “‘I Am’ consist of R&B, Pop, and Soul songs packaged in one bite sized summer project,” and she couldn’t have said it any better. The five track EP titled “I Am” is a mixture of sounds showing different sides to Melody and her personality. Her fourth track “Our Song” has been a song that seems to continuously be discussed. The record is very mellow and is perfected from start to finish giving you that classic R&B love song feel. Expect to hear her voice more in 2016!
